  • Create Report from CSV now reads LTspice AC-analysis text exports directly - a complex quantity plotted as one column (e.g. "(-16.16dB,-81.05°)" in Polar/dB-phase mode, or "9.99e-01,-6.28e-04" in Cartesian mode) is automatically split into two plain numeric columns (e.g. "V(n001)_dB"/"V(n001)_deg") instead of being flagged as having no numeric data
  • To chart more than one thing from the same source file (e.g. a magnitude chart and a phase chart from one LTspice export), add that file to the list a second time and configure it separately - both entries now share a single saved copy of the normalized CSV instead of writing a duplicate
  • The wizard's "Include measurement data table" now shows a column checklist (all checked by default) so the table can leave columns out, the same picker Insert CSV Table already offers, instead of always including every column
  • A chart that fails because a log-scaled axis was given a column with no value greater than zero (e.g. a dB column - already a logarithmic unit, often 0 or negative - plotted with "scale: loglog") now says so specifically instead of the generic "no usable numeric data" message
  • Fixed a semilogx/semilogy/loglog chart whose data barely spans any of a single decade (e.g. a near-constant measurement) rendering a blank axis with no numbers at all - it now falls back to a small set of evenly-spaced real-value labels
  • Fixed "minorgrid: yes" on a semilogx/semilogy chart visibly changing gridlines on the OTHER (linear) axis too, not just the intended log-scaled one
  • Fixed the X axis label, and chart type/scale/minorgrid suggestions, not updating when manually switching a chart's X column in the wizard - they stayed on the previous column's own values unless already edited by hand
  • Create Report from CSV's own default window size now matches the main window's actual default size instead of an independently chosen (and sometimes larger) one
  • New "Create Report from CSV" wizard (fifth dock icon, or Ctrl+Shift+N) - pick one or more CSV/TSV files and get a ready-to-edit report with charts, a data table, and an optional Count/Min/Max/Average/Median/Std Dev statistics summary already in place, using the same chart engine as Insert Chart
  • Supports several files at once, each configured separately (its own X/Y columns, chart type, axis settings, section title) with a live chart and data preview before anything is created; mixing files with different delimiters is fine, each is normalized automatically
  • A file that turns out not to be tabular measurement data (no header row, duplicate columns, or no numeric column at all) is flagged right in the file list instead of failing later
  • Nothing is written to disk until you click "Create Report" - it then creates a fresh, uniquely named folder so it never collides with or overwrites an existing report
  • Fixed the dock icon rail's hover color showing a fixed pale system blue regardless of theme, which clashed with the Studio Dark theme's gold accent - it now tints with whichever theme (and its buttons) is active
  • Fixed "Preview unavailable... The nested language was not found in the language repository" - an html code block containing a <script>/<style> tag, or a php block containing embedded HTML, used to break the whole preview instead of just syntax-highlighting normally
  • A chart that can't be plotted now says specifically why (e.g. "no data rows in file.csv") instead of one generic message that misleadingly implied a column-name typo even when the real cause was an empty CSV or non-numeric data
  • Custom Figure/Equation/Table cross-reference labels (Page setup) now also apply to DOCX and HTML export, not just the live preview and PDF export
  • New /note, /tip, /important, and /caution slash commands, alongside the existing /warning, for inserting each admonition type without typing "> [!...]" by hand
  • Fixed the cursor landing past the whole block after using an admonition slash command, instead of right after "> " ready to type
  • Pressing Enter inside a blockquote (including an admonition's body) now continues onto the next line with another "> ", the same way lists already continue on Enter - pressing Enter on an empty quoted line ends the block instead
  • Fixed Esc not reliably closing several dialogs (About, Credits, Print Preview, AI Strip, Insert Chart, Insert Image, Insert CSV Table, Import Settings)
  • Import Settings now offers to close MD Visor right away to activate the imported theme/page setup/editor preferences, instead of just telling you to restart it yourself later
  • Chart blocks now support "band: min, max" for a shaded tolerance/spec-limit region, and "status: column" to flag non-GOOD measurement points with a colored marker directly on the plot - useful for measurement/QA reports (frequency response, channel mismatch, and similar pass/fail charts); both are also available as fields in the Insert Chart dialog
  • New "minorgrid: yes" chart option adds the classic "1-2-5" engineering log scale (labeled ticks at 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, ... plus finer unlabeled gridlines) on a semilogx/semilogy/loglog axis - off by default, also available as a checkbox in the Insert Chart dialog, for when a wide frequency sweep makes the major-decade-only labels too sparse to read
  • Admonition ([!NOTE]/[!TIP]/[!IMPORTANT]/[!WARNING]/[!CAUTION]) label text is now configurable in Page setup, so a non-English document can show "Varování" instead of "WARNING"
  • New Export/Import in Settings - bundles preferences, page setup, document styles, snippets, and the header logo (not window size/position) into a single .mdvsettings file, for sharing your setup with someone else or carrying it to another machine; import shows what it found and lets you choose what to overwrite vs. keep
  • Tab now properly nests a list item wherever your cursor is in it, not just when the cursor is at the very start of the line - so you can Shift+Tab out and Tab back in freely
  • Nesting/un-nesting a numbered list item with Tab/Shift+Tab now renumbers it (and the items around it) to stay sequential, the same way pressing Enter already does
  • Fixed Tab-nesting a numbered list item not actually rendering as a nested list in the preview/export when done right after its parent - it now adds the blank line Markdown needs to recognize it as one
  • Insert CSV Table now opens a dialog to pick which columns to include and rename their headers, instead of always dumping the whole file
  • New "Statistics summary" mode for Insert CSV Table - pick a column (and optionally rename its header) to get its count, min, max, average, median, and standard deviation instead of a full data table
  • CSV files now ignore "# ..." comment lines (e.g. an instrument export's metadata header) instead of misreading one as the table header
  • Fixed small numbers in a CSV statistics summary getting rounded away to almost nothing (e.g. a 0.000074 V reading showing as "0.0001") - now shown with full precision
  • Fixed a Mermaid diagram sometimes rendering cropped/oversized in the live preview and PDF/DOCX/HTML export, regardless of the "scale=" value used - a timing issue in capturing the diagram, not the sizing itself
  • Renaming a document (click on its name in the Action Bar) now keeps the .md/.mdv extension automatically if you type a new name without one, instead of saving the file with no extension
  • Fixed a wide Mermaid diagram getting cropped in the captured image itself, so shrinking it with "scale=" (or any other size) no longer just shrinks the already-cropped result
  • Fixed an error message popping up on every window when closing several MD Visor windows at once (e.g. "Close all windows" from the taskbar)
  • Improved file association for .md and .mdv files on Windows 10, so MD Visor is recognized correctly as the default app
  • Fixed pasting an image copied from Adobe Acrobat/Reader (Ctrl+V) - it used to save as a blank white image
  • Images can now be sized as a percentage of the page width (e.g. "=50%") - no need to know or guess a pixel number; works in PDF, DOCX, HTML, and the live preview
  • Fixed an image near the bottom of a PDF page rendering shrunk instead of moving to the next page - now happens consistently regardless of the requested size
  • Fixed Ctrl + mouse wheel in the PDF print preview scrolling as well as zooming
  • Fixed "Sync scroll with preview" not working at all, and fixed it getting stuck near the end of the document when scrolling the editor back up from the bottom

  • Charts can now have custom legend text per series (instead of just the CSV column name) - editable right in the Insert Chart dialog
  • A help icon in the Action Bar now opens the online manual - same shortcut as pressing F1
  • Your own Snippets now show up in the "/" menu too, named after their file, so they're reachable without leaving the keyboard - if a snippet shares a name with a built-in command, it's labeled "(snippet)" so the two are never shown identically
  • The CSV delimiter setting gained a fourth option: Pipe ("|")
  • Documented column (box) selection - Alt+drag, or Alt+Shift+arrow keys, selects a rectangular block across multiple lines; typing or pasting then applies to every line in the block at once
  • Charts can now use engineering log scales - Semilog X, Semilog Y, or Log-Log, same idea as MATLAB's semilogx/semilogy/loglog
  • Charts can now have explicit X/Y axis limits (like matplotlib's xlim/ylim), settable in the chart block or the Insert Chart dialog
  • Mermaid diagrams render at a much higher resolution - text stays readable even with two or three diagrams side by side

  • Document style got the same Import and Open Folder buttons - Import checks the file actually looks like a style profile before adding it
  • Picking a document style profile that was deleted outside the app now shows a clear message and refreshes the list, instead of silently switching styles

  • Insert Image can now select several files at once, with shared alt text/size/centering, an auto-numbered cross-reference label, and an option to arrange them into a table

  • Track Changes and Check Document can now be closed with Esc, Track Changes' diff is now legible in Studio Dark, and Check Document also got an explicit Close button
