The short version: Bench Logger doesn't collect, transmit, or even look at anything you do with it. There's no server behind this app, no account, and no analytics - the author has no visibility into how you use it or what data it holds.

What the app stores

All of your data - instrument profiles, recipes, app settings, and the last-used connection target - is saved only on your own computer, under %LocalAppData%\FotoVentus\BenchLogger. Logged CSV readings default to Documents\BenchLogger unless you choose a different folder. Nothing is ever uploaded anywhere.

Network use

The only network connections Bench Logger makes are the ones you set up yourself, directly to the bench instrument(s) you connect it to over your local network (LAN/SCPI, including LXI discovery to find them). It does not contact any server operated by the author - no update checks, no license phone-home, no crash or usage reporting.

No tracking

No cookies, no analytics SDKs, no third parties involved. This applies equally whether you're evaluating, using, or have long since stopped using the app.
